With humour, heart, and expressive illustrations, it gently explores what happens when screens take centre stage, and what we might miss when they do. This isn't a story telling children (or parents) to hide devices away and never touch them again. It's a story about balance. About noticing what's happening around us. About remembering that sometimes the best stuff isn't on a screen at all. Written by a parent, teacher, and serial idea-chaser who spends his life bouncing between projects (ironically mostly on a device), The Screen invites kids, and the grown-ups reading along, to laugh, think, and maybe look up... just for a moment. Perfect for children aged 2 - 10, parents, teachers, classrooms, and anyone who's ever said, ""Just one more minute..."" This is my first attempt at illustrating as well. All images inside were hand drawn, before using AI to colour them for me.
