OverviewDeborah Johnston was not born under the best of circumstances; in fact, her mother gave her away when she was just three years old. That was the first of many hard knocks to Deborah's heart, which she openly shares in her autobiographical book. After a tormenting revelation about her marriage results in one of the darkest times in her life, Johnston could not see through the pain in her heart. It was then that she notices an ad in a local newspaper about a program that promises to change her life. Eager to feel better, she signs up. Soon, she begins to transform her career into a wildly successful entrepreneurial venture that eventually enables her to employ thousands to care for others. Stunned by the amazing changes in her life, Johnston offers to teach the principles that helped make her a millionaire and gave her the ability to donate to good causes more money than she could imagine acquiring in a lifetime. After facilitating significant life changes for hundreds of students, Deborah Johnston became a celebrated prosperity teacher in her church community. ""The School of Heart Knocks,"" allows the reader to see how Johnston went about applying the principles she credits for transforming her life from struggle and unhappiness to one of extraordinary abundance and generosity. Anyone who becomes aware of and embraces the ten success principles presented in this book has the ability to transform their life in a positive way--no matter how many heartbreaks they have encountered on their journey.
