A second graphic novel because, well a new colour was needed for the cover, orange for the title words and might that be an orange sun peeking out from the clouds? It could be and that could also be a sign of hope, of light in the lives of the members of The Sad Ghost Club. In the first book we know that we found our kindred spirits but now we have them it is good to know that the story continues, that there is more to come for us, for the club, for you too. Finding the club, meeting other people, that is all great. After all other people, especially other people who are just like you, are great. The trouble is that just as you and I can be complicated so can those other people. It is challenging when you are used to being by yourself, being all alone, to go out into the big wide world, to talk to people, to make friends. Do you know what to do? Take the world, the day, the hours, one step at a time. Just as we learn to walk one step at a time, we need to take our steps one at a time when we are coming out from our lonely places into ones with people. We might be hiding under our ghostly sheets still, afraid to see the world or afraid for them to see us, but that is okay, it is a layer that will come off later. One step at a time remember.
