Malcolm McKeag is a well-known author, broadcaster and commentator on all aspects of sailing and is the Chief Sailing Officer of the Royal Thames Yacht Club. He has prepared this book with the close co-operation of the RYA's own experts in the legal, cruising and training departments of the UK's national boating organisation, as well as drawing on both his own experiences and those of many others.
