Overview

The little oak stood alone in the middle of its yard- a little runt of an oak. In many respects, one could say it drew a strange correlation to the little family living in the old Southern house next to it. The little family consisted of a young boy and his mother, and most of all a little dog- a little runt of a dog. The dog's name was Sam, and on one fateful night, all which was little would become something grand. What lay within would far exceed what seemed apparent on the outside. Sam would take a leap of faith into a place plagued by psychological disorders of insecurity, tormented by a manipulative force seeking control. A troubled realm, a troubled family finding resolution in a place as far away as it is close... all under the roots where our biggest hopes and fears reside.
