Overview

Many are the things that unite Christians regardless of the different families (denomination) they might belong to. The Rosary is not one of them! It can even be considered by some quite a divisive practice. As the title suggests, for some Christians praying the Rosary is a blasphemous practice and for others a practice that is pleasing to God. Those who hold one or the other position, and everything in between, can have very strong feelings about it! This book is an attempt to examine the practice of praying the Rosary in light of Holy Scripture, which is the one authority that all Christian claim to adhere to. In the book a definition of the Rosary is presented first and then that definition is taken apart and each of its parts are analyzed in the light of Holy Scripture. The majority of the quotes form Holy Scripture are taken from the NKJV, but the KJV and the RSV are also used. All Christians, regardless of the position they hold on the Rosary, can benefit from this book. Its reading can confirm some Christians on their position and it can also move others to reconsider theirs. My hope is that at the end greater unity among Christians will be achieved, at least with regards to this specific subject of the Rosary. May God bless and guide us all!
