Robin Bates didn't expect her job to be so isolating. The reason she even took this job was to work in a small department and get out of the city she grew up in; and she's now on the trail of what appears to be a serial killer. When Robin is forced into the spotlight after a car comes out of the Valleys' river, she also gets to work every day with the guy she has a crush on. With the entire world watching this high stakes case unfold. Robin soon discovers this particular cold case isn't what they thought it was. With new information coming to the surface everywhere she turns, she soon finds it difficult to work in such close quarters with Doc and Chief. Especially since the main suspect is their father. One slip up, one mistake, and both killers could get away. But can they catch them before one strikes again?
