Before she and her mother had to leave Kyiv due to the war, Dasha taught Hebrew at the Kyiv Center for Progressive Judaism 'Hatikvah' in Kyiv. She now teaches Hebrew to Cheder children at Milton Keynes & District Reform Synagogue.Dasha learned Hebrew when she lived in Israel for two years in Haifa and later on Kibbutz Metzer. When she returned to Kyiv, she started writing Hebrew poems because she missed speaking Hebrew and thought poetry would be a great way of helping children learn Hebrew.The poems have now been translated into English to make them more accessible to English speakers wanting to learn Hebrew.
