OverviewAt its core, The Road Home is an exploration of identity and minority experience. Addressing themes of race, sexuality and childhood, the work seeks to showcase what it means to exist in the world as an autistic, queer person of color. In this way, all of the poems and writings are simply lenses into my life, however shrouded in metaphor or abstracted they may be. The Road Home is a personal journey of self-discovery.
