His main research field focuses on the Spanish right and the Franco dictatorship, and his more recent book is España en camisa azul. Falange, cultura política y poderes locales (2022). Ismael Saz is Professor of Contemporary History at the Valencia University. His main research field is focused on fascist and nationalist political cultures, as well as on Franco dictatorship.
