Overview

The last time I was in Africa was 22 years ago, when I had been kidnapped during an epic journey home to Wales. Now I was returning as a physiotherapist to work with disabled children in the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho. Wales and Lesotho are twinned, approximately the same size, and both have beautiful mountain scenery. The similarities stop there. Working in Lesotho was going to hold very different challenges to working in the Welsh National Health Service.
