Overview

The final remnants of a dying alien race desperately flee from the attack of another alien race. Their ship reaches hyperspace, but not before sustaining significant damage. During a routine space mission, the crew of the Platypus unexpectedly encounters this massive alien spacecraft parked beside their own vessel. Driven by curiosity, they board the mysterious ship and find its alien crew in a state of suspended animation. When Captain Dave Milburn accidentally falls into one of the cryo-tubes, he is transported to an alien world. There, he learns about the struggles of the alien race known as the Kilu, witnessing their desperate fight for survival. Despite these revelations, his primary goal remains: to find a way back to Earth while trying to survive among the aliens.

Bryan is a retired Maths, Science and Information Technology teacher from Australia, who has been a fan of science fiction all his life.
