Overview

The Religion of The Son of Man is the first and oldest religion of Mankind. The title Son of Man originated from prophesy that a male child, born of a virgin, would put an end to evil by conquering the serpent; and ruler of all evil. In many ancient cultures throughout the world, one finds a common thread of hope for mankind in the coming of the Son of Man, and his ability to slay the serpent. From ancient art work found in Mesopotamia, Egypt, Persia, Greece and Rome one is keenly aware of a centralized theme celebrated in each respective culture; The Son of Man conquering the evil serpent. The Son of Man is depicted as a strong and conquering warrior, wrestling with and sometimes slaying the evil, monstrous serpent, inspiring the popular phrase the dragon slayer. More revealing about this Son of Man and the monstrous serpent he slays comes from ancient Hebrew writings together known as the Bible. Even though there has been many ancient writing discovered and dated older than the Hebrew Bible, the substance and information of the Bible is found to be far superior. -Rev.
