Author Information

Bob Forrester is a heritage specialist based in Eswatini, Africa. He has published on history and archaeology in Eswatini, and has designed and created four museums in the country. For years he has recorded rock art and archaeological sites, he collaborated with Mauro Almaviva surveying all known rock art sites in the country. Mauro Almaviva is a medical doctor who was born in Bologna, Italy. He has worked extensively in public health throughout Africa with the Italian Cooperation. His deep interest in history and archaeology resulted in him finding previously unrecorded rock art sites in Eswatini. His African travels are published in Il Cofanetto Magico, and he is the co-author of a book (in press) on the WW II defences of Alghero in Italy.
