Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationBorn and raised in Southern Maryland, Carol Davis found a love of photography at age twelve while attending middle school. After experiencing the chemical development process of black and white photos and seeing the first image come to life, there was no turning back. Throughout high school she continued with photography by being a part of the newspaper and yearbook staff. It was here, she met her husband of 30 years, Tom. As an adult, Carol has travelled a variety of places documenting her experiences and Random Thoughts as caught. So became the name Random Thoughts Caught, Carol's blogsite. Viewers see a variety of photos from several states including Northern California, Nevada, Sante Fe, NM and of course, Southern Maryland. Additionally, some of her personal favorites are from a trip during 2003 to Italy. As much as Carol's camera is an extension of her arm, so is her digital darkroom, Photoshop. Carol digitally paints photos to create unique and cherished pieces. There are then output on various mediums and displayed throughout the world. Inspired artistically throughout her existence by her brother, George F. McWilliams, Maritime Artist, and Ansel Adams, Photographer, Carol's drive, determination and pure love of everyday comes from her family. Given her first real camera (a Pentax K1000) at age thirteen by her parents, George and Bobbie McWilliams, Carol has acquired, loved and gone through many cameras. Today her side kick is a Nikon and a speedlight. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
