Overview

In 2002, twenty-one-year-old Taekwondo champion Kim Dalton was living her dream of becoming an Australian champion and running a Taekwondo school with Rob. But by early 2003, a persistent pain in her side turned out to be a rare and aggressive cancer called adrenocortical carcinoma. Kim called the tumor ""Fred the Freak."" Life changed forever, and the real fight had just begun. In this very personal Australian story, Kim takes you on her journey through the maze of doctors, specialists, scans, and operations.
