Alison Lohans is the author of numerous books for children and young adults that deal with the darker side of family life and growing up. Her books include The Raspberry Room, Picturing Alyssa, Collapse of the Veil, Crossings, and This Land We Call Home. Gillian Newland has illustrated a variety of publications, ranging from magazines to children's books. She finds most of her inspiration outside her studio.
