Lent is a season of returning-returning to reflection, to hunger, to the quiet places where God meets us without pretense. It is a season shaped not by our strength but by our need. We come as we are: distracted, hopeful, weary, longing. And Jesus meets us with questions. Throughout the Gospels, Jesus asks far more questions than He answers. His questions are not traps or tests.
