Overview

Bear is a young grizzly cub who lives with his family in the forest of Bear Tooth Mountain. He is playful, curious, and always ready for an adventure. When Mama Bear let him go out on his own to get some honey for his Grand Bear, Bear finds himself on a Quest for the Queen Bee. He meets Bee on the way and decides to complete the Quest with his new friend. Their journey is full of adventure and along the way, they learn about cooperation, commitment, loyalty, and the importance of friendship.

Dwight Richards, Jr. is the epitome of an adventurer. He loves reading, writing, and studying science, and is always curious about historical figures and new discoveries. He also enjoys exploring nature, and loves running fast. Dwight is a great friend, and always up for a new adventure. He sometimes gets mischievous, but his family and friends always forgive him because he is so likable. When Dwight was 8 years old, he wrote The Quest with Bear and Bee, which was inspired by his own love for adventure, nature, and friendship. In the book, Dwight shares his passion for adventure and exploration with readers, encouraging them to be curious and follow their dreams. After reading The Quest with Bear and Bee, it's impossible not to be inspired by Dwight's contagious enthusiasm for life. I started my career as an illustrator in 2016 after graduating from a business course. I have worked for two companies as a children's book illustrator and have also been a freelance illustrator throughout the years. Although the course I have chosen didn't connect much with arts, it still helped me as a freelancer to do business with my clients. As a self-taught artist and illustrator, it really means a lot to be able to help authors build their children's book dream come to life through my works. Dwight Richards Sr is a published author, inventor, entrepreneur, and United States Army Veteran. He is known for his taste for adventure, which made him the perfect partner expert for The Quest with Bear and Bee. Dwight Jr has grown up hearing about his dad's adventures, allowing Dwight Sr to be a source of information and inspiration. Dwight Sr. is the proud father of five girls and one boy. Growing up with 5 brothers in Harlem shaped Dwight Sr. into the strong, adventurous, and inspiring leader that he is today.
