Van de Ven, Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota * Author InformationGeorges Romme is Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), in The Netherlands. He studied economics at Tilburg University and obtained a doctoral degree from Maastricht University. Until 2014, Georges served as Dean of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences at TU/e. In the early 1990s, Georges Romme introduced Boolean comparative analysis in the field of management studies, and also pioneered the Thesis Circle, a tool for collaboratively supervising graduation projects. Moreover, he is one of the original pioneers who (re)introduced design thinking and the design sciences to management and organization studies.
