Overview

Seasoned hockey player Camden ""Hero"" James has a compulsive need to help women in distress, and Anastasia Lennox is no exception. From the moment he first sees her dance he's determined to save her - and have her - even though she's hell-bent on keeping him at arm's length. Anastasia isn't sure why a gorgeous, famous NHL star wants anything to do with a damaged ballerina who can barely make ends meet. They're clearly from two different worlds. But when she suddenly has nowhere to live, she grabs the lifeline Camden throws her with both hands. Anastasia's new roommate's obsessive behaviour should raise red flags, but instead, Camden's intense focus makes her feel safe. Despite the fact that life has taught her not to trust anyone, she finds herself falling hard and letting down her guard. Camden wants to give Anastasia everything. Maybe this time the wrong man is offering exactly what she needs . . .

Author Information

A Texas girl living in Utah now, C.R. Jane is a mother, lawyer, and now author. Her stories have been floating around in her head for years, and it has been a relief to finally get them down on paper. Jane is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and primarily listens to Taylor Swift and hip hop (. . . don't lie and say you don't, too). Her love of reading started when she was three, and it only made sense that she would start to create her own worlds, since she was always getting lost in others'. Jane likes heroines who have to grow in order to become badasses, happy endings, and swoon-worthy, devoted (and hot) male characters.
