Overview

The Protestant Problem is a fictional debate between three attorneys - a Jew, a Catholic, and a sola scriptura advocate - who argue the Virgin Birth doctrine before work every morning. In this first volume of The Protestant Problem series, the three attorneys (Ian, Jerome and Sarah) struggle to prove each other wrong when Sarah argues that there is no explicit Virgin Birth statement anywhere in the earliest Christian Bible manuscripts. She claims that the Virgin Birth legend is just another false Catholic interpretation of the birth narratives found in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke which, she argues, could have devastating implications for the Protestant church, today.
