He was Program Director for Urology from 1991 to 1998, and he continues to practice as a Senior Urologist at the McGill University Health Centre. He is best known as the author of three books: Private Parts: An Owner's Guide (1988), an international best-seller that has been translated from the original English into French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, and Russian, The Prostate (20001), published in Canada, the US., and the UK, as well as in French and Spanish translation, and Zen in Action (2006).
