Overview

When a new element is discovered by Magitech, the biggest tech company in the world, the technology the world used changed in every way. Motivated by the promises of this new field of research, Tiffy spent her teenage years holed away in dark corners of her group homes, compiling information and scouring the internet for what she thought she was owed, a hand to replace the one she lost as a child. The chance finally arrives with a sketchy deep web auction. Years later and now in college, she finally cracks it, but when she slips it on, she's blown across her dorm room in a flash of pink light, and the next day the campus is crawling with suits scanning for energy as the streets are filled with fantastical beasts and the world changes around her. Tiffy and her Professor escape across the country, meeting talking Napoleonic rats, dodging apartment building sized spacemen smashing into the freeway, and visiting a vast underground library to find books that shouldn't exist in a search for answers. Now in a safer place, they hunt for information that might give them answers, and maybe even lead them to taking down Magitech on the way.
