She works in the sociology and history of education and has published extensively on gender and youth studies, with a focus on identity, inequality and social change. Katie Wright is an Australian Research Council Fellow (DECRA) in the Melbourne Graduate School of Education at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Her research interests focus on historical and sociological studies of education, psychology and childhood.
