Overview

Nathanial Frazier a Technical Sergeant (E-5) in the mighty 761st Tank Battalion one of the first all-Black armored units to see combat in Europe. They earned the nickname ""Black Panthers"" for their bravery and effectiveness. The unit faced racial discrimination but proved their capabilities in battle and was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation for their valor and performance. While Frazier was assigned in Italy and on a weekend furlough, he and a couple of his army buddies met her. Isabella Rossetti, a local girl from a small town just outside their base. They hit it off immediately, becoming inseparable until her brother Enzo Rossetti, a Capo Regime with the Rinzivillo Mafia clan finds out and causes all kinds of trouble for them. Enzo and his henchmen do a good job at keeping Isabella and Nathanial from seeing each other, until his unit finally receives the long-awaited orders to move out to the front and he transfers before he can tell her that he wanted to marry her. She believes that he doesn't want her. He believes the same, but he can fight it any longer. Will he return from the front to claim her love, or will he lose her forever without her knowing his true feelings?
