Overview

All too often project managers are given a process to work within, but are left on their own when it comes to interpreting how to communicate within the process. Inconsistent communication is the number one reason for project failure. The Process of Communication gives Project Managers a simple Communication Framework for efficiently managing their teams and properly setting and managing client expectations. The Framework outlined in the text can be set on top of any development methodology including Agile and Waterfall. And in the absence of a formal methodology use The Process of Communication as your blueprint. The Communication Framework in this book is supported by over 50 templates and agendas, numerous case studies and proven tips for overcoming adversity. Author Michael has worked for many global digital agencies including SapientNitro and Prodigious Worldwide and he has managed offshore teams from Bengaluru, India to San Jose, Costa Rica. He has over 25 years of experience working for such brands as Harvard Business School - Executive Education, LeBron James, Luxottica, General Motors, XL Capital, MFS, Putnam and Teradyne to name a few.
