Reviews

'The Printed' has it all; humor, humility, and wisdom all rolled into one! Cameron Fitzgerald puts heart and soul into this project; love for the narrative drips from every page! Five whole-hearted stars! I recommend to seekers everywhere! This book was a wild ride. It reminded me of some other famous espionage/thriller novels because of its premise, but Fitzgerald's unique writing style sets this book apart. Jasper is a relatable protagonist, and I liked the balance between suspense and humor. This book was able to draw me in quickly and stay engaging through the course. I enjoyed the contrast of humor with the dystopian setting. Overall an enjoyable ride. I really liked the way the book started...how the protagonist had the skills to read the emotions of faces and his decision would judge the persecuted simply through a diagnosis of facial expression. I thought the storline was clever and fresh. I feel the reader should know the story weaves in a lot of Christianity into the perils of the character's lives. Since the author is a minister, I assume that is the purpose of his writing. But there are many perils, and all in all, the adventures are intriguing. A unique storyline with fantastically drawn characters. Well worth the read.
