Overview"Recently, my parents celebrated their Golden Jubilee Marriage Anniversary, a great feat which is a true testament and display of the grace of God for our family and for the great benefit of the body of Christ at large. During the commemorations, I took them to a plush hotel to give them an opportunity to enjoy themselves in each other's arms as they reflect on the abundance of God's beauty and mercy that He has lavished upon them and taken them this far. For posterity purposes, I took the opportunity to interview them to reveal the secrets which have sustained them this long in marriage. During the conversation, my mother leaned so much towards raising children in the fear of God and under the principles of Christ. She revealed that if parents fail to raise their children using this standard, their marriage can easily get stressed and fall under the weight of bad parenting. In the 40th chapter section 16 of his prophetic constitution, Isaiah cited that; ""The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever."" I'm glad that my mother's assertion wasn't vague as vapour, it was premised on the following scripture: ""Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."" Proverbs 22:6 Children can identify that crevice which they can use to further rift their parents apart in an attempt to seek favors, attention and compassion from one parent. Parents must work in unison to the end that children must know that what their father says about a particular subject is what their mother will echo. A child cannot get money to buy candy from the father when mom has said 'No' and the reverseis true. I believe the preaching element in my father kicked in when he revealed that their marriage has been sustained by the 'The Power of Unconditional Love.' The Word of Christ has been their engine and Unconditional Love has been their fuel. Fifty-three years and nine children later among a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, their love is still strong as a rock. Under the radar of divine inspiration, the ancient wise preacher penned the following scripture: ""If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small."" Proverbs 24:10 Throughout this book, I will dwell on these virtues in such a manner that you will be metamorphosed bit-by-bit until you become one with this force by the time you finish reading this scroll. I prophesy The Power of Unconditional Love over your marriages and families from now henceforth. God Bless You!
