Overview

Jesus gave his disciples authority! This is not just power; it is also authority to use that power. But we must constantly realise that this authority does not rest in ourselves, but in the one who gave us this authority. Not only that, we are not to use this authority for our own privilege but to bless others. In fact, Jesus gave us everything freely, so we must share with others as He has done with us. So Jesus sends us out on a missionary journey without even the most basic elements of a traveler - no money, no luggage, no change of clothes, and no extra. We are to depend upon those we serve and upon God to provide. This missionary journey must be accomplished soon! No time for encumbering equipment or pretense. The authority and provision come from the Lord! AMEN (Matthew 10:8-10) 'Heal sick people. Rise dead, cast out devils ..... Heal those people that have leprosy.
