Overview

THE POET AND THE WONDERSMITH is a classic battle between good and evil. A young boy convinces his busy and reluctant father to venture into a world of strange creatures, a barren wasteland ruled by a greedy and treacherous king. They bring with them the technical skills and scientific knowledge of the father, a Wondersmith, the creative aed musical talents of his son the poet, and the magic of his gifted mother to do battle with the powerful forces of fire, deception and greed in the Underworld. The story is based on an Irish myth, showing that superheroes have existed since the beginning of time and that superhero qualities may rise to the fore in unexpected ways when good people overcome the forces of evil.
