Author Information

Kristen Gandrow is Director of New Play Development for the Playwrights' Center. She's been a dramaturg for festivals and productions throughout the country and Off-Broadway. She received an MA in creative nonfiction and an MFA in dramaturgy from the University of Iowa, where she participated in its Playwrights Workshop. Polly K. Carl is Producing Artistic Director for the Playwrights' Center, where she oversees artistic programming, community and institutional development, and organizational finances. She has been with the Center for six years and received a PhD in Comparative Studies in Discourse and Society from the University of Minnesota.
