Susan Gibbons-Wolf is a freelance writer and author of the award-winning picture book P.S. Boats, Around Puget Sound. She studied creative writing at the University of Washington and is a trained public information officer. Teaching children for more than 40 years and working in public service has given her perspective of what children want: vivid illustrations, engaging text, heartfelt messages, and worthy subjects.
