OverviewGeraldine Bonner (1870-1930) was an American author who lived in Colorado mining camps as a child. After moving to San Francisco in 1887, she worked at a newspaper and began writing novels in 1900. 1905's The Pioneer is her second novel, set in California and Nevada.
