Overview
The Pianoforte is a progressive piano course. It is founded on Musical Analysis, and, for this reason, it is utterly new. This Course consists of ten levels, plus an introduction for autodidacts (Autodidacts), two volumes dedicated to Scales and Arpeggios practice, and a series of Supplements, as the diagram here to the right depicts. Level One is a beginner level, whereas the Autodidacts volume is a primer level. Thus, this method is suitable for beginners of all countries and even for autodidacts. Levels from One to Four consist of two volumes each (1) one for pupils who aspire to become pianists, (2)the other for pupils who did not elect the piano as their main instrument, but study it as Second Instrument - which, in certain countries, is also called Complementary Instrument. A pupil should, therefore, follow one path to the exclusion of the other, according to his/her education path (pianists vs. non-pianists). Levels from Five to Ten each consist of one volume only. Levels from Six to Ten are intended for higher piano education. Each volume is complemented by a series of Supplements. Each Supplement is either a long piece of Music or a small anthology. They are intended to widen the pupils' repertoire.

He graduated (as pianist) in Ensemble Music with Felix Ayo at Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia (Rome). - LORENZO GIORGI: He studied Pianoforte and Musical Composition. He carries on didactic, artistic and editorial activities. He authored and published a didactic translation of Reicha's Treatise on Melody. - ORNELLA CAMPANINO: She graduated in Flute in Siena. Post-graduate course in Chamber Music at Accademia Musicale Chigiana (Siena). Post-graduate course in Flute with Angelo Persichilli in Rome. She authors and illustrates books for the youngsters. Her passion for Art is fulfilled through Music didactics, musical stage performance, and Painting.
