C.N. McDonald is from a small mountain town in the Sangre De Cristo mountains where she lives now with her dogs, nana and aunt. She found her love for writing in middle school and wrote her first handwritten novel for fun. In high school she found a community on Facebook where she built worlds and wrote stories with others. Eventually she decided to take her characters and start writing their books. Her debut novel The Shadow Wolf Chronicles, was where she found her love for fantasy and myths. The Shadow Wolf Chronicles follows Jade Danes and how she navigates a bad childhood into becoming a powerful queen and mother. She debuted the novel in 2021 and has been working on other stories ever since.
