This is a preparatory self-check of reflection and spiritual health. This book pushes the reader to take off their mask and be honest about the places that hurt. Most people wear a mask at work, church, among friends and even in prayer. In today's society it is rarely safe to sit down and be honest about the things that hurt us and the sins that so easily beset us, separating us from God's plan for our lives. Often, we don't have a safe place to tell the truth about our secret struggles. Sometimes those struggles are internal and sometimes they're external creating a barrier between us and a very loving God. Jeremiah 29: 11 For I know the plans that I have for you declares the Lord plans to prosper you not to harm you plans to give you a hope and a future. Social Media has allowed us to create false representations of who we really are. The purpose of this book is to dig deep, changing your current patterns and allowing you to judge yourself before judgment day. If you confront your sin nature, the enemy has nothing to hold over your head and you can finally be free. We promise to hold your hand and not judge you through this process. "La'Shawne Richmond grew up in Metro Detroit amongst violence, poverty and social norms that are contrary to the word of God. She experienced a 19-year identity crisis until the Lord spoke to her when she found herself, at age 19 and pregnant. Rejected by the streets and rejected by the church she found no other choice but to seek God on her own. During her journey of discovery, she faced divorce, spiritual parent abuse in church, abortion, domestic violence and self-doubt.
