This is (by far) the most user-friendly project management book I have ever read. The great thing about having your own business is getting the opportunity to do those things that you are really good at! The not so great thing is ALSO having to do those things that you aren't all that good at or know nothing about. For me, managing projects is necessary, but not a skill that I have spent anytime developing. I didn't want to take a formal project management course, but wanted a crash course with the nuts and bolts of efficiently and effectively managing a project. I couldn't find anything like this, until I found this book. It's like a mini-bible for project management. It breaks down the concepts in a way that are digestable and actionable. You can cherry pick the sections you need or read it cover to cover. If you find yourself coordinating people and have a need to meet deadlines, this book is a must add to your collection! This book is PERFECT for project management beginners! For me, the task of organizing a managing a team of 10 for the first time was a little bit intimidating. Thankfully, I found this book and just followed the steps exactly as he outlined, and I was shocked at how smoothly everything went. I have already recommended it to several of my colleagues.
