The Perfect Imperfection: Love Can Be Found In The Most Unexpected Times

Overview

In the future, everything is different, with all the people looking the same, everything looks gray and colorless. Diversity doesn't exist anymore. Because it is prohibited, since now the world spins around perfection from birth to death. The beauty standards are stricter than ever, everything needs to be what the law considers perfect. Families need to be perfect. Divorce is not allowed at all; it would tarnish the name of a whole family generation, making the family not worthy of trust, not worth anything. But what is worse than this? Being born imperfect, being different from what the law wants you to be. Kairo was born with heterochromia, his eyes showing two contrasting beauties, his right eye blue as the blue sea and sky in good days and his left eye green as the leaves that grow from the trees in spring. His skin was covered in freckles, making him look breathtaking, but the world didn't see beauty in these features of his... they saw them as abnormal and imperfect. Because of this, Kairo faced the harshness of the world with no filter, growing up with the perfect people giving looks of disgust and disdain to him just because he didn't look what was considered normal. A perfect couple adopted him. The news went wild with horrible headings towards this angel of a kid: 'Why would the most perfect family sacrifice their whole legacy by adopting an error that shouldn't even exist in this society?' Because of this, Kairo would grow up insecure. Kids in school would bully him, calling him 'ugly, ' and as he grew older their insults grew worse, to the point it was a constant reminder for someone to say, 'You were adopted because of pity, ' or the classic, 'You were adopted because your family just wanted to appear on the news.' It was horrible to the point Kairo would cry every morning when it was time to go to school because everyone would bully him... but after years the waters would ease. Aeron Silas, the youngest son of the Silas empire, and his whole family were perfect and very well known for being dangerous and for having strong connections with people you do not want to mess with. So with all of this, Aeron was raised in a home of strict rules meant to lead to the path of absolute perfection, starting from his manners to his persona and mind. Aeron was born naturally handsome, with the strong opposing posture of his father, the dark eyes of his mother, and their sharp mindset. But there was something Aeron couldn't shake out of his mind: why was perfection everything in this society? Why was there only one way to be perfect and the rest wasn't? Why be perfect when it means to be trapped in a mold everyone has to follow, even when they don't feel that they belong in it? They are total opposites, but somehow they cross paths to find out that they weren't so different as they made them believed this whole time, a new and beautiful connection would begin to develop between the two, which would be the start of a big change. LGBT+ romance with unexpected secrets awaiting to be uncover. Book one of the series: Love Can Be Found In The Most Unexpected Times
