The PEOPLE of the NIGHT TAROT Compendium

Overview

From Jungian Archetypes, to the Fool's/Hero's Journey and Alchemy, Hermeticism, Qabalah, Esoteric Christianity and Islam, Martial Philosophy, Astrology, Mysticism and Magick; ʿĀʾishah bint Maniyyah discovered that all of the above could be found within a deck of cards. ʿĀʾishah draws from her Martial Arts Journey where she currently holds the rank of Sandan/3rd degree black belt, her study of Western Esotericism, combined with her love of Christ and complementary progression into Islam, in order to produce The People of the Night Tarot Compendium. This richly illustrated 154-page reference guide explores the Major and Minor Arcana through rich mystical correspondences, Islamic divine names, scriptural verses, philosophical teachings, poetic material, and practical spreads. It offers readers a rare syncretic approach to Tarot as a powerful tool for spiritual insight and inner transformation across mystical traditions.

Author Information

ʿĀʾishah bint Maniyyah, born in the early 1980s in Southern California, was raised with early exposure to Christianity. Her spiritual path deepened profoundly through the study of esoteric and gnostic Christian traditions, which became a central influence in her life.A dedicated martial artist, ʿĀʾishah holds the rank of Sandan (3rd degree black belt) in Koei Kan Karate Do. Her training in the Budo (Martial Way) served as a powerful vehicle for inner transformation and spiritual discipline. This journey naturally expanded into a deep engagement with Islamic mysticism and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. She has also immersed herself in the study of Qabalah, alongside Jungian depth psychology, alchemy, Hermeticism, astrology, and other Western esoteric traditions.ʿĀʾishah's life and work reflect her ongoing exploration of the mystical intersections between Christianity, Islam, and the broader esoteric current.
