Qaiser Mohammad Ali grew up playing, watching, listening to and reading about cricket. Currently sports editor with the New Delhi-based Indo-Asian News Service (IANS), he has been covering international cricket for fifteen years. He was earlier sports editor with the Asian Age, and has also worked with the Statesman, the Delhi Mid-Day and Career & Competition Times. He won the 2005-06 'Best of News Agencies' national award of the Sports Journalists Federation of India (SJFI).
