Author Information

Stanley (Selig) Weinstein was born in Jaslo, Poland, in 1928. He immigrated to the United States in 1947 and then to Canada in 1952. He had a successful business career in Montreal. He and his wife, Sarah, raised three daughters and now have seven grandchildren. Stanley Weinstein lives in Montreal. Dr. Thomas Pegelow Kaplan is the Louis P. Singer Endowed Chair in Jewish History and Professor of History at the University of Colorado Boulder. The author of several publications, his most recent work is Holocaust Testimonies: Reassessing Survivors' Voices and their Future in Challenging Times.
