He has served as a Hinds County assistant district attorney and as Mississippi special assistant attorney general. He has published seventeen works of fiction and nonfiction. He is currently a federal administrative law judge. As though his roles as judge and writer are not enough, Jim Fraiser is also a professional actor and has directed and/or performed in many plays in regional professional theater.
