Helen M. Kraus developed this devotional with her late husband, George Kraus--a pastor for forty years and a teacher in the Pastoral Ministry Department at Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She has also worked as a teacher in Lutheran schools in Texas and New York City, and currently resides in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. She is a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Gorham, Maine.
