Author Information

Peter Marks is Emeritus Professor of English at the University of Sydney, Australia.  He is the author of four monographs, including George Orwell the Essayist (2011), Imagining Surveillance: Eutopian and Dystopian Literature and Film (2015) and British Literature of the 1990s: Endings and Beginnings (2018). Jennifer A. Wagner-Lawlor is Professor of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Pennsylvania State University, USA. She is author of Postmodern Utopias and Feminist Fictions (2013) and three other authored or edited volumes, publishing as well numerous articles and book chapters on literature and the environment. She is past president of the Society for Utopian Studies.  Fátima Vieira has coordinated four funded projects on utopianism. She has edited or co-edited several volumes in the field, among them Food Futures: Ethics, Science and Culture (2016) and Dystopia Matters: On the page, on screen, on stage (2013), as well as numerous book chapters and articles in Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian and English. She was the Chair of the Utopian Studies Society / Europe from 2006 to 2016.
