Dr. Claire Sand is a technical and educational leader with over 20 years experience in education and industry. Dr. Sand currently serves as Adjunct Faculty in the Master's Degree program at Michigan State University and at Rochester Institute of Technology's Executive Leader Program and is an educational consultant. Dr Sand's track record as a leader in higher education and specifically in curriculum development, instruction, and in training makes her uniquely qualified for the position of Dissertation Faculty at Capella University. She is an accomplished educator, author and grant and teaching award recipient. Dr. Sand has been a Research and Administrative Director and a tenured faculty member at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Sand's industry experience ranges from management to technology implementation in domestic and international arenas. Dr. Sand holds a PhD. in Food Science from the University of Minnesota and MS & BS degrees in Packaging from Michigan State University.
