The Other Side #4

Audio Format

Overview

The conflict between skilled mercenaries and the trapped group of prospectors has been getting worse. New monsters have also been arriving in the anomalous zone. Some of them have even managed to get over to Earth. Their abilities have been increasing so much that they will soon be able to devour humans and mercenaries alike and nothing will stop them becoming kings of the Other Side. If that happens, Earth will lose its chance to stay isolated from other worlds. Survival is possible if unique skills can be developed. It's a risk worth taking but the prospectors are running out of time.

Author Information

Rodion Korablev was born in the USSR into a regular Soviet family of engineers. He was the eldest of two brothers.Rodion acquired an avid interest in sci fi and adventure books from a very young age, starting by devouring the tomes by Jules Verne and Alexander Dumas before moving on to the translated classics of American science fiction by Robert A. Heinlein, Clifford D. Simak, Isaak Asimov, and Harry Harrison, among many others.Still, he himself didn't dare try his hand at writing at the time. Having finished school, he studied chemistry at uni and started a career as a chemical engineer, never stopping to consume more science fiction books. He then got married and had a daughter-but even then books remained his main passion. So finally, he decided to build his own world, one with its own characters and its own rules . . .
