An alien civilization offers the human race a deal--access to the Other Side and the extraction of its resources in exchange for technology and knowledge. Thanks to this, humanity opens up a whole new universe full of unusual opportunities. Author Information

Rodion Korablev was born in the USSR into a regular Soviet family of engineers. He was the eldest of two brothers. Rodion acquired an avid interest in sci-fi and adventure books from a very young age, starting by devouring the tomes by Jules Verne and Alexander Dumas before moving on to the translated classics of American science fiction by Robert A. Heinlein, Clifford D. Simak, Isaak Asimov, and Harry Harrison, among many others. Still, he himself didn't dare try his hand at writing at the time. Having finished school, he studied chemistry at uni and started a career as a chemical engineer, never stopping to consume more science fiction books. He then got married and had a daughter-but even then books remained his main passion. So finally, he decided to build his own world, one with its own characters and its own rules. Graham Rowat is an award-winning narrator who has appeared in numerous television shows and stage productions. He has had roles on Broadway in Meteor Shower, Sunset Boulevard, Mamma Mia, Guys and Dolls, LoveMusik, Dracula, and Beauty and the Beast, and his Off-Broadway credits include The Blue Flower (Second Stage) and The Boys in the Band (Transport Group). Nationally, he has appeared in productions of White Christmas and Les Miserables, and his regional credits include Arsenic and Old Lace, Constellations (Berkshire Theatre Festival), and A Funny Thing . . . Forum (Two River Theater, Williamstown Theatre Festival). His television credits include Elementary and The Good Wife.
