THE OSPREY CONSPIRACY is a fast-paced fictionalized story based on certain experiences of a young man who grew up in post-war Crete, Greece and sailed the high seas as an Officer in the Greek Merchant Marine.It has the psyche of Zorba the Greek, the zest of Indiana Jones and the romance and intrigue of the movie Titanic. The story is conveyed through the life of Chief Officer Nick Spartakis, his shipmates, their families and lovers, as they travel the world. An awareness that death lurks ever-present on the high seas in the wrath of nature, impels the mariner to live each moment with zeal, as if there were no tomorrow. The M/V OSPREY, a 28,000-ton cargo ship, and her crew face perils far beyond natural hazards. Nick uncovers a sinister conspiracy to sink the ship and becomes embroiled in a web of treachery and murder.
