The Orthopedic Workbook for Physical Therapy

Overview

How do anatomy and orthopedics relate to kinesiology? The Orthopedic Workbook for Physical Therapy answers this question by teaching the reader how to put the individual pieces of treatment together in order to properly care for patients. Designed to follow the American Physical Therapy Association's (APTA) Guide to Physical Therapist Practice, this text is ideal for the visual as well as the hands-on learner. To assist students in correlating content learned over the duration of their studies, each chapter of The Orthopedic Workbook for Physical Therapy covers the following components: musculoskeletal, common pathologies, pathophysiology, various tests and measures as both assessment and specific clinical skills, interventions and their proper protocols, setting appropriate goals for the patient, and proper plans of care.
